"this piece just flowed from my sub-conscious after staring at weather-man bob ryan on tv for 3 days." the awakening (verso), milo hubka, arlington. "i thought, what if i turn the hains point sculpture upside down so his rear end's stickin' out? and boy, do the neighbors hate it!"

Interestingly, the neighbors seem to be working on a 10’ tall naked snowman of their own. I wonder what they’re planning the scaffolding for?

Haven’t seen the Awakening since it was moved to MD (National Harbor) RT’s Awakening Verso is probably known locally as The Moon.

Some new additions could be made to this fine collection as a result of the new snow in the greater D.C. area. I just hope the sculptors continue to avoid politicians-as-subjects….
