Spring Planting Guide to Unpleasant Blooms Hey! Where's that water? You just going to stand there! C'mon c'mon! Is there someone else I could talk to? Impatience - An extremely irritating bloom. Put it in a pot & throw it away. Stalking petunia - Persistently annoying. May require a restraining order. Tank killer tea rose - Hybrid developed by U.S. Army for use in Desert Storm. Necrotizing fuchsia - Not recommended for yards with pets and small children. Arh! Arh! Arh! Down! Scrofulous terrier plant - Sheds all year, smells bad & will try to scratch itself.

’How’d you lose the leg? Great white whale?’“No – Big fuschia plant.”

The necrotizing Fuchsia looks like it’s saying “Feed me Seymour!”

I used to like tea roses. Darned Army experiments! (See: most 1950s sci-fi movies about giant insects, atomic-activated monsters, etc.)

Actually, that’s Multiflora Rose. They had to tame it down a little to make it a tank-killer.
