In an April 2, 1931, New York Yankees exhibition game, 17-year-old Jackie Mitchell struck out both Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig in succession! Pule cheese- the world's most expensive cheese- costing $1000 a pound- doesn't come from cows or goats, but from Balkan donkeys. Jumbo jaws! Leptostyrax Macrorhiza, a gigantic 100 million-year-old shark found in Texas, who was as long as a two-story building is tall!
Yea two things about the exhibition game. Was it a publicity stunt to get headlines? Or from the stories I’ve read about the off field activities of players of that era there was a good chance they have had one or two too many drinks.
If not and she was that good one wonders why they have to divide it up into boys and girls even to this day.
