Spin a wheel and choose a party to blame, go ahead. Government can’t create jobs. That’s not what they do, that’s not what they’re intended for. They can either serve the people or force the people to serve them but they can’t do much outside of that in any competent fashion.

Sharuniboy: have had the same problem, between my ISP being messed up for a month, and the glitch in the “submit” button suspect digital more than dittoheads.

As to the ‘toon, isn’t it AMAZING that it’s the “gov’t can’t create jobs” folks who insist Obama must, but corporate yahoos only have to bat an eye at them and they swoon?

Taking money from employed people and using that money to provide a service is not job creation. Especially since you dont need the government to hire teachers and fix roads. There are plenty of people who work for the government, but you need more people out there to fund those salaries and the government can’t be expected to do it.
