President Obama wants more money for the over loaded immigration system so they can quickly process the children and do the right thing including sending them back to their families. The conservatives are doing nothing about it except trying to make the President look bad. The original law that encourages this immigration was approved under the Bush administration by a majority of the Congress. Now they are stringing out the problem so they can bash the President. If we can’t get the Republicans to even do this we ought to deport all of them to some third world county that deserves them.
The Pres had issued ≈ 19 EO’s modifying the ACA. He has deferred implementation of key mandated coverage so the ACA is not receiving revenues to finance the rest. It wasn’t all that cute in the beginning and the Pres is beating it with an ugly stick.
@ dzw3030: True, the graph represents quantity rather than quality (or lack thereof); but the Rethuglicans have been trying to make exactly that case — that by issuing ANY Executive Orders AT ALL, President Obama is somehow a tyrannical Dictator who wants to usurp Blah Blah Blah, &ct. ad nauseum. I say “Proof or STFU!!!” — and I haven’t seen anything like proof yet. So until the Rethuglicans get off their lazy, ultra-partisan a$$e$ and start doing their jobs by voting on the various bills that are currently pending in the House, I’m not going to begrudge the President issuing EOs if he thinks it’ll get done what needs doing.
dzw: indeed, the numbers alone don’t tell how damaging most of "W"s were, nor how many were violations of the Constitution, which went unchallenged in the courts, or to the Democrats shame, the Congress.

Boehner should be in the chair, but as the “chair” destroys your brain to kill you, he’d be perfectly safe.

What a dumb cartoon. Because, of course, no president has ever issued an executive order before.
