Good question.. could it have been made in Canada? Seems that is where it was first noticed. I know there is speculation it drifted across the pacific ocean.. but surely it would have been shot down by the excellent American defense system before it reached land.
Fox News host bizarrely blames ‘treasonous’ farmers after Chinese balloon incident
Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy suggested that “treasonous” farmers and real estate agents are selling land to China. Just hours after the U.S. military disabled a possible Chinese spy balloon, Campos-Duffy floated her theory to retired Lt. Gen. Richard Newton.
Well, it has been shot down now. And China has reserved the right to “take further actions.” And Ted Snooze says Biden wouldn’t have had the guts if people hadn’t spotted the balloon. So why did Trump not shoot down the ones on his watch? No pleasing people.
I have one question and one follow-up: If Biden ordered the military to shoot it down in Wednesday, and it took until Saturday for that to happen, how many officers have been relieved of duty for refusing an order? Follow-up: If none, exactly who is the Commander in Chief?
I think the Chinese government has been trying to see what they could get away with in relation to the USA. Several years ago, our inspectors on the west coat caught some made in China toys laced with a kind of poison. I thought then this might’ve been a test of our border screening process. It worked. Now, we have these weather/spy balloons crossing the NA continent. While these solar powered devices below the balloons may be just gathering weather data, they may be checking out our missile locations and other bits of useful information for their military. Though with the use of satellites they would hardly seem necessary. They may have just been checking out our reaction to a violation of our air space. But, all this is just conjecture, and nothing will be known until our military has had a chance to analyze the material of the shot down balloon.

Has the US sunken to incoherent third-world style scapegoating?

Well, at least Biden decided to shoot it down after it had completed it’s mission. That keeps China happy.
