I don’t agree, Robert. Today, he has a very firm base. He’s yanking the Justice Dept around, get’s the media to print, report whatever he says, has a HUGE following on Social Media, and knows only too well what a cult figure he has become. It’s up to the gerrymandered maps, voter suppresion efforts and voter list purges to sew it all up.

It was a good scam, but one question: who was the victim? Certainly not the banks who lent him the money against the inflated collateral. Nor was it the local Government agencies who collected higher taxes.

    - @Retrac one question: who was the victim?

We’re trying to have a society here. If a system based on reality is found out to be based on fantasy, it implodes. Think world-wide depression.

By the way, Deutsche Bank and dozens of other major investors lost their @ss fooling with Trump & his bankruptcies and failures. They pass that on to us, of course.

And he doesn’t pay taxes at all.

The fraud case will be appealed, of course, all the way to the New York Supreme Court, so even though it will be several years before this is resolved and Trump and his progeny lose everything they own in New York, his and their assets will be placed in receivership.

He knew this was coming so that’s why he’s been liquidating his assets in the state and moving his base of operations to Florida and off-shore.

Trump isn’t any kind of businessman, and he relies on a fresh supply of “suckers” to maintain his business structure (he remains one of the VERY FEW people who’ve EVER gone broke running a gambling casino ANYWHERE in the world…

He’s actually gone through MOST of the hundreds of millions of dollars he inherited from “Daddy”, and his children will need to start fresh with their own scams once he’s dead and gone – to this point, only ONE of his many golf courses is turning a profit and the occupancy rate on most of his properties is abysmal – he will still die a rich man – barring lawyers’ fees to keep him out of jail – but it will be a near thing…

Long sense past due. That’s been his modus operandi for decades. Everything from stiffing waitresses to using contributions to his “charitable” institutions to pay his expenses to bilking his followers. Jail is too good for him.
