    77% is the average, although out of context, the value of the number is lost.

    Yes, and they’re also likely to be OFFERED a lower wage than white men. But the point is that it is not fair to discriminate on wages, but the GOP does not want to do anything about it.

    The statisticians control for that. It has less to do with experience than with gender and race. The latest is at a jewelry chain where NEW male salesmen start at a salary that is higher than saleswomen who have been there for three or four years. The problem is real, and is completely documented.
