The “injuries and usurpations” described in this quote are the colonists’
“A President, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”
The Declaration of Independence lists all the crimes against the American people which drove them to reject British rule. If we replace ‘the King’ with ‘President Trump,’ much of the list still makes sense.
Trump loves the verbal combat with the press. He gets to act tuff. Any other type of combat he could of faced years ago required deferments. Bone spurs are hell.
“If I had to choose between government without newspapers, and newspapers without government, I would not hesitate to choose the latter.” —Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), 3rd US president
I’ve said this for some time now, all the press should limit their coverage of the president to just 15 to 20 seconds daily – tops – covering this rhetoric and then pay no attention to him leaving him with only Fox to highlight all his “achievements”. He’d go nuts and complain that he’s not getting enough coverage. Never in the history of this country have I ever seen any leader treat the press and others as rudely as this guy, regardless of the question. What a disgrace and then lovely Sarah and Kellyanne defend him saying he’s just fighting back over the unfair coverage the press gives him? While no president can please everybody they should work to try and display some effort to unify the people, but I never see this happening during his administration!
What if he held a press conference and nobody showed up? Or the networks agree not to report on anything he says/does for a week? That would be interesting, to say the least.

Looks like it won’t be long before Faux Noise becomes the only “news” organization allowed at the Trump regime’s press conferences.

As tired as I am of the 24/7 news of Trump, somebody has to hold him accountable for his stupidity, that and his ‘base’.

Just take away their credentials and ban them from the white house! Problem solved!
Plus, then you can get rid of the First Amendment because clearly we don’t need it any more.

And each and every one should receive Medal of Freedom that Adelson’s wife wrongly will receive.
