This all started when “it” (the president in the 80’s) rescinded the equal time law concerning broadcast political opinion. The law simply required both sides of a political issue to be presented to avoid the radio becoming a propaganda tool for any one side.

Believe me, “it” knew what “it” was doing. His rich buddies wanted the radio to be turned into a far-right propaganda machine, and he gave them what they wanted.
