The MAGA GOP has no ideas, no ethics, no honesty, no morality. When you don’t stand for anything you only actions can be to attack, to tear down, with any means possible. They keep serving up nothing burgers, arguing that the nothing burgers are proof of something.

It only takes one Representative to call for the Speakership to be vacated. Those are the rules of engagement agreed upon at the beginning of the term.

If they want to change the rules, they have to have another vote to recind/edit them. That has not been done . . . yet.

So any speaker elected is subject to the same 1 Rep can trigger a Vacate Vote rules that McCarthy was kicked out on.

Any RWNJ bozo that manages to squeek by can be kicked out by all the Democrats and 6 or more Republicans.

Any compromise candidate that gets elected by all the Democrats and 6 or more Republicans is immune to a Vacate Vote because the Democrats will act to save him/her.

So who is really in charge of the House, in the face of the Chaos Caucus?

Although GQPs do blame the damage they’ve done to themselves and to the House on Biden…

The world is a far less stable place than it was pre-trump because with him elected the world realized they can no longer count on the USA to act like adults, plus he kowtowed to every 2-bit dictator that paid attention to him. And it wasn’t particularly stable even before him. Hasn’t been for a long time that for the most part has nothing to do with any of our past Presidents.

So, with the war in Ukraine still raging, the gawdawful mess in the Middle East getting worse by the day, their pet lament about immigration going nowhere, and the deadline for the continuing resolution that funds the entire US government drawing ever closer, what have the House Republicans chosen to devote their time to? Why, their intramural pïssing match, what better?

You started the war under Junior Bush’s watch. It’s only been getting worse, thank you very much

And Jim Jordan loses once again, worse than before. I really don’t understand why his colleagues keep voting against him. He’s the perfect guy for the job as head loser in a party of losers.
