My folks were divorced, but I’d visit my tough truck driver dad frequently. Whenever we’d greet each other, or say goodbye, he would extend his hand for a shake and say, “Boys don’t hug.” To which I would reply, “But girls do!” and I’d enthusiastically throw my arms around him in a big hug!

In my house husband is the boss. We do what he wants to do. He decides where we will eat and if at home, picks what we will eat.
Why? Because it basically makes no difference to me.
