Strike while the iron’s hot!

Too much irony?

They’re called irons because way back in the early Iron Age, they WERE (cast) iron. To hold the heat after you heated them on the (wood/coal) stove. And they were heavy too.

But they did kill lice and flea eggs.

Hey, put a logo on it, and you’ll start a fashion trend.

Oh the ironee…

Ironic, isn’t it?

But now he can wear it to the cathedral on Sunday because it is holey!

Just patch it.

It’s much cooler now.

She left the iron there while, uh, jousting with Lancelot.

Took me a moment to realize that that wasn’t a decoration on the front of the tunic. It looks a bit like a superhero’s costume.

Now he’s steamed.

I did that to the sleeper couch when I was four. haha

Random musings:

It was actually the early ironing age.

She did it on purpose — now she’ll never again have to do the ironing.
