During the Iraq war I would join in peace protests with a sign I made that read, “Fight Apathy Not Wars”. A couple of young people asked me, what’s apathy? There’s your problem!
A former boss of mine would say It is what it is to bring an end to discussing a topic I’d brought up to improve something that the higher ups would deem a dealbreaker.
