Einstein related that the more he learned about the universe, the less he knew, and (to paraphrase)- the more he believed in “something” as responsible for the complexity. I find the universes (quantum physics is proving interesting) too complex to explain by pure chance. But I find any human “organization” that claims oppression against others as “divinely inspired” , from any book or leader, antithetic to whatever that creative force might be.
If SETI ever does make contact with someone (we might label some “thing”) out there willing to talk to us, it will have VERY INTERESTING consequences.
