Only Amazon Prime payees could view Thursday night’s Chargers / Chiefs game. The NFL is moving games from free broadcast towards paid subscription. I suppose they are going to need that extra money to deal with the massive legal liabilities associated with the future of all contact sports.
Well, things change. Not so long ago my [yes, my – it’s how we refer to our beloveds] San Diego Chargers were “on the cusp” of securing community ownership and a new stadium deal.
Now my Bolts play in L.A., renting stadium time from the World Champion Rams.
Bezos potentially buying the Chargers doesn’t affect my romance with the team, though. My wife’s boss is a complete tool as well, but she is still my true love. One fine day we will be back in San Diego as a community owned franchise playing the most exciting brand of football there is to be had.

Probably a tax deduction, just for icing on the cake. Certainly no sales tax like we have to pay on everything.
