When we used to go camping, our daughter loved sleeping in her own tent, a little ways away from ours. And when we brought a friend of hers with us, they’d be in there laughing well into the night before they finally fell asleep. Perhaps Joan, Wally and Val should’ve discussed sleeping arrangements with the kids BEFORE the trip. We always did, and there were never any issues like this at the campsite.
When we went camping we didn’t have problems with sleeping arrangements, either. Wife insisted on a tent big enough for all five of us—-me, wife, and the three daughters.
When my sons were teenagers, I used to take them and their friends on canoe camping trips in the Adirondacks. We would camp along the way along the riverside over a couple of days. I would tell Native American stories around the campfire at night. That was a long time ago but I have fond memories.
Apparently not what Walt wanted. Husband and I never been camping and never will. Do not want to put up with the heat and bugs. When we went to AR at Heber Springs to visit with husband’s brother, they had their camper, the tent next to them had window a/c for inside the tent, there was also theft at that campsite, they had all locked up and their food did get stolen. My husband brother/wife kept camper locked.

Guess the guys will just have to entertain themselves by doing bear and wolf imitations.

You want romance? You don’t take the kids.

Wally seems always to get the bad end of the stick.
