My winter clothes were my cousin’s hand-me-downs. I just wore whatever was in the box……

Alix need’s an attitude adjustment and is really too young to have a choice anyway. Shut up kid and wear it! Only clothes I picked out was from money I made on my bicycle paper route.

I love winter clothes. They feel so cozy.

Why do people insist on buying clothes ahead of time? Can’t they at least wait until it actually turns colder. Then Alix will see the need. If she wears last year’s too-short pants for a while, who cares??

I’m slightly north of you, in darkest Saskatchewan, where we’ve had what seemed like two weeks of summer, and a monsoon season. If farmers here have any crop in the ground, and it didn’t drown, it might be a good year for them. If the rain stops long enough for them to harvest it.

Alix has a good point she likes summer and doesn’t want to give it up means school starts soon. I’m not sure if dept stores have fall clothes in still getting rid of summer stock.

People by their clothes ahead of time because if we wait till it’s actually cold, the stores only have spring fashions.

Similar to what Kathy Littlejohn said… people buy ‘ahead’ because store merchandisers don’t watch the weather channel.

Clearly Alix needs to go to a store (or web site) where her satisfaction is their eternal pursuit! Such a store wouldn’t be hawking coats on August 30th. :^)

Winter cloths here in Tucson means shoes instead of flip flops, sometimes long pants instead of shorts, and for the evening a lite jacket, sweater, or maybe a sweatshirt!

Question. If our satisfaction is their eternal pursuit, why do they keep spamming us?
