I think Evie’s the one who needs to clean up her attitude. To Holly, someone who is 5 times your age is, of course, old. And Evie is just teaching Holly that it is an insult to be considered anything but young.

Old is when every doctor you visit resembles Doogie Howser.

MIL was in a Home for the Aged and always talked about the things they had for “the old people” there. She never considered the fact that she was their age.

I see both of them as the same. Evie talked of being tired wanting to rest and Holly talked of grandma being old gave grandma a spurt to do more.

For me I became my mom’s caregiver as my mom is 90 with Dementia that is slowing getting worse.

Hey—as I always say … Getting old beats the heck out of the alternative.

A friend of mine died when she was 26, leaving 2 little girls. She would be near 70 now and would have loved to be here. Growing old beats the alternative!

I sure miss the daily happenings…
