This is why the forgotten rust belt voters came out in droves, they don’t care about obstructing justice, unless it is a Clinton. they don’t care about the Constitution unless a black man is in charge. They don’t care about The Rule of Law, unless its applied to a Mexican. The don’t care about Bald-Faced Lies, they use them against Democrats, and don’t care about the Republicans. They live off of Conspiracy theories, why would it matter if the president believed them? The President and his supporters are ill-informed. What does the rust belt voter care about top secret stuff being given to the Russians by our own president? Who cares about acting presidential when you want to destroy the government? At least its not a black or a woman right?

Most Trump supporters are happy that he empowers their hatred of all who are different from themselves. They don’t want honor, integrity or compassion. They just want to get rid of “THE OTHERS!”

“Refreshing?” Okay, how about you go back to refreshing yourself with a beer in front of the TV while watching sports. That’s where all these sudden voters came from. What, were their teams losing? Go back to sports, and leave the politics to folks with brains. Oh, right, the thing that got them going was that the womenfolks told them to get their own beers and snacks. Well, get used to that, you doddering old twits. And die off soon, like the other dinosaurs.

It scares me to think there are adults out there who might think this way.

Sure and Hitler was “refreshing” too and they liked him. He was popular and not a professional politician either. It was by happenstance that he was the one chosen to become Chancellor over the others since they would not form a coalition with the Nazis. On January 30, 1933, Adolf Hitler was appointed as the chancellor of Germany by President Paul Von Hindenburg. This appointment was made in an effort to keep Hitler and the Nazi Party “in check”; however, it would have disastrous results for Germany and the entire European continent.

In the year and seven months that followed, Hitler was able to exploit the death of Hindenburg and combine the positions of chancellor and president into the new position of Führer, the supreme leader of Germany. And for the next 12 years the worst global war since the “Great War” happens killing millions more than before.

But the point is that it’s bad when OBAMA did it. Period. It’s not bad when Trump does it bigger and worse. As long as a Republican can point at someone else in some other place and/or time, their behavior is endorsed.

This is a brilliant toon, except the fourth panel. I think the trump voter is feeling overwhelmed. Generally uneducated, they’re afraid and become susceptible to the con man with a shiny penny pointing out why they aren’t feeling very well these days. Abortion….Islamic terrorism…welfare queens and Mexicans. It’s all Hillary’s fault or Obama. Or the dumbocrats or the libtards, queers, and whatever else might be the epithet of the day. Amplify in echo chambers called Limbaugh and Fox and Breibart. Turn up the volume, target the vulnerable, ratings beget ratings. Ratings beget profit. Broadcast half lies along the truth, mix them up with confirmation bias to further stimulate the audience brain.

Rinse, lather, repeat. Rinse, lather, repeat. Squirt the hormones, feed the beast. Pretty soon, the myelin sheaths get thicker as lipids get deposited in a curious spiral around each of innumerable dendrites in response to the bio electrical stimulus. Then you have the grooved-in neurological reality. No simple cause and effect, a web of causes and cascading effects. Only then do you get a trump voter.

Basically, a portion of the country finally found SOMEONE who ‘spoke their language’ while actually being less intelligent than they – a “marriage” made in heaven!
