My mother regularly bought brine shrimp from the pet store to feed our aquarium fish. It was fun watching the fish slurp up the brine shrimp, and they would follow a flashlight aimed at them. I was a bit disappointed when I asked my mother to get the sea monkeys for me and she told me they were just brine shrimp. And they cost over 10 times what the brine shrimp in the pet store cost!
We shall swim out to that brooding reef in the sea and dive down through black abysses to Cyclopean and many-columned Y’ha-nthlei, and in that lair of the Deep Ones we shall dwell amidst wonder and glory for ever.

Yeah, but order them to make gazpacho and they just stare at you blankly. Some kingdom.

Ahh, sea monkeys… the aquatic equivalent to an ant farm.

I’d rather sea monkeys than bee monkeys.
