Tonight: The worst environmental disaster in history. We have full coverage. Toad: How will this impact the democrats this fall? Bird: Good question! Pocketbook issues will determine the outcome in the midterms. The disaster will hurt, but could cost fewer seats in the house. Whale: 2012 is what Obama cares about. The "drip, drip, drip" aspect of the ecological story will be over by then. Bird: Let's hope so! Whale: Next: Can Obama exploit our deaths for political gain?

the ones who jumped on board eagerly were the media. The public was and continues to be generally opposed. But the public is disorganised and uninformed so their opinion is fruitless - even with voting. We are uninformed because of that media.
Its no secret that in 1917 the revolution took over the government offices but current coups take over the media first and foremost. Guatemala 1954 says it all.
