I keep hoping that some of the people who voted for him because he’s a disruptor and anti government will get the chance to vote for Bernie who’s a disruptor, now that they see how much worse the government can be made.
Pete is not progressive enough, too young and inexperienced, and and too gay. Warren was a Republican until about 25 years ago. Imagine, she voted for Nixon, Reagan and Bush 41! A whole bunch of neolib in that old girl’s veins. Bloomberg/Steyer? Good guys(especially Steyer) but they’re freakin’ billionaires! Real billionaires. Do we need that?Biden? How exciting. Not. Klobuchar? She’s an incrementalist, but I can’t help but like her. She’s got spunk. And she’s as smart as any of them. She actually might be another term for Obama. Bernie’s where my heart is, and I plan to vote for him on Super Tuesday. But….It’s beginning to look like a brokered convention may be coming up, especially with Bloomberg’s $$$. So it just could be possible that my dream team of Sherrod Brown and Stacey Abrams….(sigh).
Meh. If Bernie can actually get past the primary shenanigans and win the nomination, winning against Trump will be a cake walk. Iowa was just a warmup.
The Democratic Establishment is already starting to panic. It should be fun watching Fox and the MAGA hats go all bug eyed and start foaming from the mouth if Bernie is running.
Bernie, if he can overcome the DNC’s efforts to shaft him, again, and manages to get the nomination, he’ll get trounced in the general election. I wouldn’t bet on him getting that far, though.
I fear that Rall has nailed it and it may be even worse. furthermore, I actually know many people who would believe every bit of it. No matter what. We are in for a bad time.
Every major policy position espoused by Sanders is favored by a majority of the American people. In a couple instances the majority is substantial. The Orange Buffoon has consistently had approval ratings in the low 40s. With the passion of his supporters and the money he’s raised Sanders would crucify the Orange Buffoon.
If you really want to get an idea of what Sen. Sanders is in for, do some research on the years long UK establishment media and Conservative Party campaign of character assassination against Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. As you should well know the campaign is well under way against Bernie in the US, and it isn’t just coming from Republicans.
Michael Moore once had a political discussion with Steve Bannon. Bannon said (paraphrasing), “The difference between your side and our side is your side wants to have a pillow fight and our side goes for the head shot”. Bannon wasn’t talking about a modeling portfolio.Drumpf will attack unmercifully whoever is the Democratic nominee. That nominee needs to give as good as s/he gets. Don’t lie, just don’t wuss out.
The problem is “He” doesn’t want to pay your doctor bills… he wants “Me” to pay your doctor bills. Honestly, there is no such thing as FREE health care or FREE college… so body is gonna have to pay for it, and it will trickle down to the middle class like everything else

Yeah, it would be so unfair to tax rich people and give anything to the people.

Truth be told; Bernie was an admirer of the Soviet Union during the pre-Stalin era, during the flower of his youth.

I have been known to pick on Rall here, but he is correct and those ads would be awesome.
And possibly enough to sway a large portion of the admittedly-stupid electorate.
It is a conundrum.

Sanders is as big a liar as tRump is, just the opposite side of the coin. Bernie talks like a socialist, but lives like a capitalist.

Wow. Almost like the hit job you did on Hillary? Propaganda’s propaganda, whether you admire the candidate or not.

Bernie made a deal with LIz Warren. Whichever one of them lost, would be appointed Commissar of Washington D.C.
