124,000 evacuated and only 7,000 were Afghans and families? The U.S. had 2,500 troops.

All the rest were cats and dogs? Maybe a pet ferret here and there and a cockatoo?

I regret that they didn’t bring out humans with the cats and dogs, but I’ve no regret at all that they didn’t abandon the cats and dogs.

The Afghan humans left behind at least have some chance to make it on their own, but it would have been an especially cruel recompense to have abandoned the loving cats and dogs who had no chance.

Normally I read Mr Rall railings with trepidation. Today I did so with disdain. Does anyone know the facts? Why, Its almost if he were a GOP cartoonist!

Didn’t Trump negotiate peace deal with the Taliban, then draw down the US forces to less than 2,500? Should have begun evacuations long before Biden stole presidency. Now back to Fox news’s exposé of Niki Minaj’s exposé of Trinidadian genitals.

I’m pretty sure the number of Afghani evacuees is larger than that. And by the way, didn’t you imply that these people were quislings (traitors for you millennials) a few weeks back?

Over 122,000 Afghans have been evacuated, with another 21,600 just in the last 24 hours. There are 8,780 Afghan refugees at Fort McCoy Wisconsin alone.

Ted Rall is using some kind of “new math” where >122,000 = 7K out of 120K.

Do you know what “Afghans” do to cats and dogs they find? Kill them, that’s why the dogs and cats that didn’t make it out were let go.

The Biden administration called “All hands on deck!” and brought out 122,000 people, an unbelievable number in the limited time. Was it all we had hoped for? No. Is the job done? No. But, if the previous administration had not obstructed the visa process, a better job could have been done. Now we hear the “do nothing crowd” blaming the “do something folks”.

If X-45 had been in charge of the withdrawal, I guarantee you that ZERO Afghans would have been brought out, and they’d have been called bad names in the bargain. Could the withdrawal have been better planned, as in start planning for a worst-case scenario as soon as you have a withdrawal date? Yes. But it was far, far better than what Trump would have done. And you know what? If Biden’s withdrawal had gone perfectly, Trumpublicans would still be bitching about it, even if it called for MASSIVE lying.

So out of over 120,000 people evacuated by the US last month from Kabul, only 7,000 were Afghan refugees? Really?? Sounds preposterous; what’s the reference or documentation for this claim?

This is the worst military debacle in US history and it lies directly at Biden’s feet. This would never have happened under President Trump.
