    /// Leaving Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées,

    Jeanne drew next to a cabriolet.

    “Pardon me,” she called, flustered,

    “do you have any mustard?”

    The reply: “Must it be Poupon (Grey)?”

    No, I don’t need any Grey Poupon. Your right tail light is out.

    Fun fact: Penelope Pitstop’s great-grandmother, Gertrude, was the first to be chased by someone from the Hooded Claw family.

    “Tell that arrogant fat swine of an ex-husband sitting back there that if he doesn’t start making his alimony payments on time, he’s gonna see more than my lawyers at his door … AND he’ll be walking not riding in the future!”

    Note: I toned down what she really said when I translated. What she really said in French would have made a Parisian Apache blush!

    At the Champs-Élysées roundabout

    Paste (including the quote marks)

    "Category:Horse-drawn vehicles in Paris" Wikimedia

    (syntax supported by the Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia and Yandex search engines) in the browser address bar (or search for it using one of those search engines) and choose the first Category: found and once there find the text string Rond, and click its link for info and links that point to more info about this roughly jumbo envelope size, oil on panel painting, including a description.

    Again, a larger strip image is shown by (Ctrl- or right-) clicking the image in Mr. Melcher’s MASTERPIECE #3181 (September 5, 2023) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment, and using the dropdown menu (even larger, if you trim what’s after .png from the URL). I have added a comment there pointing to the blog entry with my comment and reply pointing to info about this artist I used to point to here. So far, 13 works by him have been used here (19 times total, including 6 repeats), the August 28, 2023, strip being the prior.

    ♫ While riding in my hansom cab, much to my surprise. A little two seater was right by me, it cost a third of mine. The driver, though female, had challenged me, much to my chagrin. I’ll show that my horse and cab would surely get the win. Cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap, her ride was cheap, cheap, cheap. ♫
