Not really how “just ’cause” works.
Nothing is for nothing whit Hattie.
Reminded me of the first line in that Neil Diamond tune, “Forever In Blue Jeans”.
Brutus was looking for a free rake job, but he has Wilberforce doing nothing?
Money talks
Thank You, Veterans.
She’ll like you, too, for ten bucks.
Hattie has an impressive 5’ O’clock shadow
should be at least $20…
Girl’s got her priorities in order
Raking leaves is no easy chore. She deserves some pay. $10 seems reasonable to me .
Why in my day we would rake leaves all day in twenty degrees in the snow for ten miles uphill both ways for a nickel! A we liked it!
there’s a reason for her to like her it seems. :j
Is Hurricane’s earning money considered a “just cause?”
Where can I hire Hattie ? I have 3/4 of an acre that needs raking and $10 is a great deal
For $10, the neighbor’s yard must be pretty small.
Hattie is raking in the dough. A future entrepreneur.
Pay is better than Veeblefester’s.
Makes perfect sense to me. Twenty bucks and you would Love her, Huh Hurricane?
Please stop raking leaves. Let the lie. Valuable insects and animals need them to survive and also they make great fertilizer for your yard.
They have something in common. That’s the same reason Brutus works for Rancid Veeblefester!
It’s not altruism at its finest, but a professional gardener would have charged 3 or more times that and would have used a leaf blower and a broom. So, while not free per se, she still did a service……
She needs the money to buy acne cream
Money buys happiness and friends!
And of course she’d love her if she paid a lot more.
i also like folks who give me money… ☺
And she’ll probably like her again when the snow flies.
