‘Seconds’? I find it lasts as long as the other dog is in sight, with many of them.

My dog is friendly to other dogs about 80% of the time but goes nuts with the other 20%. I could not figure it out until someone told me it’s either religion or politics.

Better than the average person.

Left out the 8,000 investigatory sniffs to the left and right of wherever we walk.

I have apartments across the street and I see this on occasion with multiple walkers.

As a letter carrier way back when I was bit by a little dog. The bigger dogs just wanted to give you a hard time growling.

Just like flying. Hours and hours of sheer boredom interrupted by brief moments of stark terror.

But …. it too shall pass …. :)

I wonder if there are dialects of dog barking. Or is it the same nonsense everywhere?
