Lucky Ducky has something in Panel 13 that Donny Boy doesn’t have. (And no, it’s not gall.)

Similarly, sometime around five past noon Eastern Standard Time on January 20, Republicans will suddenly become outraged that Joe Biden has not personally developed a 100% effective, instantaneous cure for COVID19. “Why is he giving an inaugural address rather than spending time in a lab?”

They still won’t wear masks, though.

Bolling has done an excellent job of portraying the Corporate Democrats way of economic “reform.” It was amusing that Elizabeth Warren actually thought she had a chance to become Treasury Secretary. Corporate Democrat Joe Biden went with Federal Reserve flunky Janet Yellen. It will all be business as usual.

It’s funny how the deficit hawk, as sharp as his vision is, has a blind spot when it comes to the national security and defense budgets. Over a trillion dollars per year for empire preservation and internal repression. Think of what that money could do if it were spent to benefit the American people.

Republicans are all for deficit reduction – as long as it doesn’t touch their entitlements…

How is it that everyone knows that everything in this comic is true but Republicans keep getting elected on the basis of being deficit hawks? Or just keep getting elected period?

The Promethean solution. It’s low budget though. Not a vulture and not the liver.

The Deficit Hawk is related to the Chicken Hawk, which lets others fight while it cheers the military. Both are adept at letting someone else make the sacrifices while maintaining stoutly that they own the moral high ground.

Looks like Lucky Ducky will soon be the recipient of my hard-earned tax dollars for free healthcare while I have to pay out-of pocket. Sure, deficit, whatever Reuben.
