The financial base of the Taliban is an export product of death and addiction.
But we’ve got fentanyl, so who needs poppies?
They grow that ALMOST exclusively for export. I’m sure farmers will do what they can (and can conceive of doing) to scratch out a living… but the Taliban will not be giving them much latitude.
