    Part of me understands. There is a saturation point.

    If we’re critical of Europe, ask how many other countries have taken refugees. S Korea or Japan? Australia or New Zealand?

    Canada may be the most generous, considering her resources.

    SWell if Obama & EU would have meant it when they spoke of red line in Syria and would have kept that mess from happening maybe Europe would be in a better position to accept refugies

    Can’t blame the EU at this point. They are done with Muslim refugees and all of the problems they cause with their misogyny and theocratic leanings. They don’t integrate. Now, there may be some westernised, secular refugees in this lot from Afghanistan because the religious nutters have no reason to escape the Taliban, but you can’t count on it.

    Most refugees are the result of colonialism & western nations are tired of paying for past misdeeds. Most EU residents think they have suffered enough from the legacy of colonialism and have completed sufficient mea culpas for their ancestors to get out of accepting any more refugees from post-colonial states that can’t govern themselves by now.
