It depends. Some think that it should be more on the EU as a unit than on NATO. Given that the crisis is largely of US making, there seems to be a valid basis for looking to the EU than to NATO.
it would be shocking if NATO actually did something anyting to stop the US from leaving our Kurdish allies in the ditch. Who would be more shocked? The rest of the world? For the American people who are used to thinking of themselves as being above centure?
