From experience, I can tell you that the pain is temporary, the rush is amazing, and that there is no damage at all (regardless of how it feels at the time). As long as you don’t go into an epileptic seizure while driving in freeway traffic, it’s mostly all good. And there will be a “let’s do that again” moment after the pain completely fades.
Of course, I love the gag, but the panel design is creative for a weekday strip. The use of the long bottom panel really sells it.
