Love how the word balloon coils around the tusks.

And if an elephant ever spoke to Spud, he’d still be running!

Wallace: “But, what if he were lying? What if he’d attacked me when I was an elephant, stole my peanuts, and was just pretending to smell-peanut breathed like me? We still need a code word.”

Having an elephant for a best friend would be cool! It would take a lot of work out of climbing trees..

You’d think. But still, a code word would be good.

Love the cameo Mr. Henry. Just like a Hitchcock movie!

A speech bubble that curls around the tusk! Perfect!

To be honest, yeah, it would—if he ever encountered a talking elephant, Spud would know it could only be Wallace.

Though elephants aren’t allowed to keep their tusks, sadly. I wonder what a “Will Henry” flower looks like?

Imagine using elephants since the Civil War (if Lincoln had accepted the offer from the King of Siam) and changing them to better aid America. Change their color, and turning their trunk into a better hand. Tapping that big brain of theirs for human use. Even to using their brains directly on ships, planes and eventually starships along with dog, cat, octopus, chimp and human neural networks.
