I stayed inside all day Thursday. At least, I planned to. But I had to take my mother to Urgent Care.

That is a pretty cruel trick to play on him, Spud. You know how Wallace is about ANYTHING. Oh, hey, look! A coupon for an extra large triple-cheese pizza!

Sadly, we did have snow on April 1, Mother Nature played a trick on us. Tiger’s home opener & everything. Not for anything would I be sitting outdoors to watch a baseball game in 30* temps with wind and snow!

Spud, you should have said, “Sasquatch is in Mrs. Collins’ back yard!”

Old school game day, a corded remote with a game on a cartridge. And are those jacks on the floor in panel three?

Sterling is in the class now too. This aught a be good.

A hesitant “Hey, um,” from Spud is like hitting an “alert” button. If he’d said, “Look at this, Wallace”, he’d know it wasn’t an emergency.

April Fool’s is gone and past and you’re the April Fool at last!

Hey, at least he tried, and successfully pulled any prank off, in the end.

I built a fence. Waiting for the horses to notice.

I too did an almost “April fools”. My siblings rudely woke me up to help clean out the car by stripping off my sheets and spraying me with water saying “That’s what you get for being the only night owl”. To get even while they cleaned the car I put a piece of cardboard with a cat poo on it (My 18 year old cat is having trouble remembering the litter box) in my brother’s room with a note “Let sleeping owls lie”.

Gull is mesmerized too.

Mother Baker used to replace the bologna and cheese in my sandwich with a note that said, “April Fools.” Leaving me with a bread and mayonnaise sandwich. Gee, thanks, Mom.

Spud made the cactus jump…and exclaim!

sometimes the best pranks are played after the actualday…no one will suspect it isn’t true.

I had to get my booster injection of the vaccine.

And, as we all know…It’s the thought that counts!!!

Way to pry vulnerable child away from the screen—childhood, complete with lame pranks, is precious: don’t waste a moment of it. Good for you, Spud.
