You know when this story of Wallace’s dad meeting his future wife started I didn’t think it’d involve him fighting a gingerbearded pirate over the bow of a ship being yanked by a tentacle monster into a portal to another world but it is AMAZING that’s where we ended up. Still shorter than how I met your mother and with more tentacle demons so it’s got that going for it.

Does anyone remember where the Narpup is?

Great, now I’ve got that tune stuck in my head. Loving this!

Remember this was a bedtime story, must be around 4 AM by now!

I can hear the “kra koom” in the distance. Nice dramatic touch.

I can just imagine if Spud were here for a sleepover, he’d be cowering in a corner by now.

Or, as in this case, going UP with the ship.. Uptown funk is still funk!

Now I have the Funkytown song stuck in my head.

Just try walking on a sideways ship’s mast!!

“This time”? How many ships has Gingerbeard gone down with?

Instead of walking the plank, you be walking the mast.

Now if Will could work in a white whale, we’d have a great bedtime story.

I think that I will check back in next Monday and see if this story line is finally over. It’s really tedious.
