I’ve always found “Let’s Have a Party!” to be an acceptable answer.
Well Meg B- now’s your chance!
I wonder if he nailed any other peoples birthday today? There has to be a good chance somebody reading has a March 12th birthday.
Wallace: “You don’t need to know a girl to make her feel special. Now let’s all eat cake!”
Seagull looks ready to party!
Seagull’s expression in panel 8 cracks me up.
You’re in the same class- with Wallace how is it possible you don’t know him that well? Wallace turns everyone into a friend.
Thank you for remembering, Wallace! Now I want some of that cake.
Wallace is three inches of icing on a 1/2 inch cake
Good Save. And besides, a birthday celebration is more important actually…..
I like how Mrs. Mackintosh does a cool Spud like move for Spud’s question.
Two valid points are being made in today’s strip: learning facts (yes, Amelia, topsoil is a boring name but it does the job) and remembering people’s birthdays.
If it helps, Meg B, I knew a kid in school that was like that, who I didn’t know terribly well, but always seemed to know me fairly well, and in a totally non-creepy way too—he was a genuinely great guy, we need more people in the world like him. :D
A successful distraction takes prior planning and careful consideration.
I wonder how many Meg’s this class has, that it is necessary to denote them alphabetically.
In one of my classes I have three Abigails. And each one spells her name differently.
I love how Mrs. Macintosh’s face gets progressively more excited about the least exciting of things.
Partyman, Partyman / Rock a party like nobody can / Rules and regulations, no place in this nation / Partyman, Partyman
Meg B your girlfriend or something, Wallace? No, not your girl friend. Your… oh, never mind.
I wish I had a friend like Wallace in school!
Wallace is a born naturalist, he just gets his knowledge from being outside all the time.
Is Seagull going to do a magic show for Meg’s birthday?!
Spud’s expression last panel – he’s saying “Oh, typical Wallace…”!
Who is Meg B?
Spud seems to be the only one happy for Wallace’s plan.
The teacher should know better.
She’s quickly going to learn not to ask that question when she’s teaching Sterling…
Awesome teaching style on Mrs. Macintosh’s part.
