It’s not a party until you break out the party hats! I hope he’s got some Planter’s peanuts in there too!

Dig the dance the llama is doing.

When we first heard the noise and saw the shadowy form I figured we were veering off into fantasy. But today’s strip makes perfect sense.

Hope the llama’s name isn’t Carl.

Years ago me and another vet tech were trying to get an IV catheter into a sick cria (baby llama). Mama llama was in the pen, and kept anxiously sticking her nose in to check her baby. She was getting in the way, so the other tech pushed at her and said “Go away, mama!”. Mama didn’t like that, and started spitting at the other tech – and chased her out of the pen! I hunkered down since I didn’t want to let go of the cria mid procedure, and prepared to be attacked too when mama stomped back towards us. To my surprise, she just resumed being concerned about the baby!

They are pretty smart; I wasn’t the one who pushed her, so I was okay. The other tech never could go back to that pen without getting spit on!

I’m a fairly new reader of Wallace the Brave, but I am so glad I found it!

This is great. They go into the woods to look for an owl and find a lost llama. This series has been so much fun XD
