This is one good glass sculpture. I wonder how long it took her to make it.

Maybe the teacher just needs to find their true calling too

I was talking to a glassblower who lived a short distance from Santa Fe, NM. I asked him what is the first lesson you teach a beginning glass blower. He told me in seriousness that the key was to blow not suck when blowing glass. I still think he was high he said it.

The student becoming the teacher, though that was a martial arts thing.

“AFTER SEEING WHAT I DID, THE TEACHER QUIT”

(senses a sudden realization in this part of the dialogue of this cartoon)

Suddenly, I find this strip distasteful. We are twenty-nine days away from Resurrection Day [Easter] and the writer uses the Lord’s Name in vain. Yeshua ha Messiach is not a term to be used to blaspheme, it is an acknowledgement of the One who shed His Blood to redeem each and every sinner from the ultimate payment for their sins.Woe, unto you to be found a sinner in the hands of an angry God.

Holey Moley, the colorful metaphors continue! At least you’ve found you’re calling Margot, it was just blowing in the wind.

Does this strip appear in any newspapers? If so, I can’t believe they okayed that first panel. (To be clear, I’m not offended, but a lot of older newspaper readers might be by the casual use of “Jesus Christ!” as an exclamation. Good gag, though. I’ve been enjoying this strip and getting to meet these characters.

I read that a similar thing happened to comic book author Hugo Pratt with a watercolor class. Let’s hope Margot is not forcing herself teaching that course because she can’t say No to her former classmates.
