Where I am in western New York it’s been fairly sunny all November. Just a spot of showers one day. I wonder where the Harts live where they have a foot of snow already?

Not at all. November is usually one of the best months! Cooler temps, the last of the leaves changing and falling, the first snowfall (hopefully in time for Thanksgiving). Closely following October for best month, tying September, and closely preceeding December. Mid Feb to Mid March is the worst time of year

February is the worst. Gray days, you’re done with cold weather, although the shortest month it seems to last much longer.

In eastern Ontario it’s been a warm Fall so far but that can change fast.

Kwitchabishin. The snow is covering the leaves. No raking. Woo Hoo!!

We don’t get winter in the bluegrass state until January or February. That’s when the snow comes, if it comes at all.

Loveland Ski Area is reporting 12" of snow. Down from last years 18".

Actually, in Southwestern Idaho, February is the worst. Nothing but cold, gray yuck.

A nice warm room, comfy chair, hot cup of cocoa… just add a good book and mid November looks pretty darned good to me.

Seriously, there is no day so dreary that it can prevent someone from commenting on it at length.

I hope we don’t have a February like last years. Temperatures down in the single digits and rolling blackouts…

So much for the month of Thanksgiving.

Here we skipped fall. It was mild through September and October before the temperature dropped like a bomb… and the leaves seemingly all fell at once. It hasn’t snowed yet…

It’s okay once it snows… it’s ‘Brown Season’ I find depressing.

In Indiana, I just mowed the lawn. That just isn’t right.

We still have the A/C on. Living in Florida is nice this time of the year. Now if all the tourists and snowbirds would stay home….

November is not a bad month, now February there’s a really bad seed.
