We’ve been getting rain and thunder & lightning here in mid FL a lot lately. I love T&L!

Reminds me of a line from the musical “1776”.

Something about getting a report on the weather from that young Jefferson fellow. Mr. Hancock says something like “As if it weren’t speaking for itself”.

Interesting. The classic and current WOI is about rain.

It’s raining here. How’s the weather where you are at?

Ok, but will we have sun eventually?

Heavy rain in today’s Wizard of Id and today’s Wizard of Id Classics.

Ya was probably predict sunshine today eh.

Weather it rains, weather it shines, catch the weather at nine.

Time to raise the curtain and bring out the soap.

I always thought it would be cool to have both Id and Id Classics (or BC and Back To) to share themes. I guess this is as close as it’s gonna get.

“The weather” used to be my favorite part of “Welcome to Night Vale”, before they went full potato back in 2016.

We used to have a “weather forecast” sign in my hometown. Once I watched it change from “Sunny and Warm” to “Rain” as the rain fell.

At least it’s not oobleck.

Listen for hail. We had a sudden downpour and hail and it was a tornado going by 1/2 mile from us.

No rain here for a long time. 104F today and norm is 85F here in Spokane WA USA

Beware of lightning.

If there’s one thing I can’t stand it’s meteorologists who think we already know what is or has been going on and then proceed to tell us what they think will happen. How do we ever actually know they got it right? Now we might know if they said it was going to rain and it did or didn’t. Until someone tells me the temperature I don’t know.

He has a swimming pool up there. In order to go down, he probably has to open a hatch to a stairway that’s probably also flooded. At the bottom would be a door exiting the stairs.

I gave up on the local ABC affiliate in philly when the weather man said light snow today but nothing accumulating until this afternoon- I went outside and had to dig my car out!
