A fitness haiku
I run and lift weights
Working hard to stay in shape
I want a donut.

Teddy Roosevelt said something like: “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” One should never believe they can’t until they’ve tested the hypothesis thoroughly. Determination has accomplished more than all the geniuses who ever lived.
I’ve always liked this poem . . .buuuttt . . .
I liked th version performed on The Dick Van Dyke Show better. Anyone remember? Hmmm?
Whatever motivates you, but I kept hearing Dorothy Parker: “I’d rather fail my Wasserman test / Than read a poem by Edgar A. Guest.”
I love this strip so much that I save them for Saturday when I have time to savor ever frame.
